Damaged Luke Struggling in the Empire

This is the start of blank101's second Star Wars series. If you haven't read his first one, I highly recommend it. Though this series uses many of the same characters, they are in wildly different situations. They also act very differently which helps make this series stand apart from blank101's first. Luke Skywalker is a troubled individual. He was taken by Emperor Palpatine from Bail and Breha Organa when he was young. Subjected to horrors and a harsh upbringing, Luke is stuck living a life he wants to get away from. However, no one can leave the Emperor. So, Luke does what he can. He acts out, runs away, takes drugs, anything to pretend like he has a little bit of freedom. But he always returns back to the Emperor's side. Lieutenant Han Solo of the Empire arrives on Coruscant for a bit of shore leave. Here, he meets Luke at a bar and helps him out in a fight. The two are locked up together. The next thing he knows, Han is reassigned to Luke's household. A strong cast of characters including Leia Organa, Obi-Wan, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and a number of OCs help to make this an interesting tale. Much of the story centers around Luke and Han's interactions. They are friends, or at least something close to it. It is a fantastic tale of Luke's struggles as he seeks to figure out who he really is and what his place is in the Empire. Vader plays a fantastic role in this story. I won't spoil anything but he has a key role in the story which eventually leads to an incredibly satisfying ending. Overall, the writing quality is very strong as is usual with blank101. The characters are interesting and deep. The plot moves at a good pace and has plenty of interesting twists and turns along the way.
