Centuries after that fatal day of the battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter has fallen into legend, a bedtime story parents tell their children, a name whispered around campfires. He wanders the world alone and immortal, until one single reckless moment sends him hurtling into a parallel dimension of heroes and villains. A new enemy arises from an ancient power, and Harry must take a stand as the last wizard to protect this new world. If only SHIELD would stop trying to track him down...and someone could explain what the hell was an 'Avenger' was supposed to be. Honestly, muggles...

Over powered and very OOC Hary

I like the basic premise of this story. Harry being pulled into another world as the Master of Death is one of my favorite tropes. However, I just cannot get into this one. The character interactions feel shallow and underdeveloped, with the author often falling into the traps of having the characters snigger and smirk, or scowl and huff rather than building the dialog to convey emotion. It is frustrating, because the author often comes close to having really solid prose but always falls back into clunky phrasing. This along with wildly out of character and over powered Harry, and undeveloped character interactions kills this one for me. I know this story is very popular and I will add the caveat that I have never managed to make my self read past chapter 5, so perhaps the writing improves as the story progresses. I've just never been able to push through the flaws to make it that far.

Interesting take on Harry being Master of Death

I really like that, while Harry has been Master of Death for over 300 years at the beginning, he is still finding out what that means as he goes. It's a nicer way of giving us exposition than I've seen in some fanfictions where people just list all of the things that being Master of Death gives Harry in their story. I wouldn't say that the fic is bad. I did enjoy it, however, I didn't fall in love with it like I do with some fics. There are times when the writer's style is a little odd, for example, every chapter has a quote that in some way is related to that chapter, and while most authors would count this as being separate, there are times when storyforsomeoneBorsari has Harry's internal monologue respond directly to the quote which can be a little jarring. Then there are also times when the author goes a little crazy with quoting things. However, none of these things make it a bad fic, they just can take away from the experience, or accidentally take the reader out of the flow of the story. Still though, if you're looking for Harry X Loki, then this isn't a bad fic.
